An elegant 19th-century Italian chest featuring exquisite rosewood parquetry and a white marble top. The piece showcases fine craftsmanship with inlaid details and brass ring pulls. Condition includes minor sun fading, small chips to the legs, a moderate stress crack and loss to the back left leg, and an apparent repair to the back right leg. Natural shrinkage cracking, nicks, and old veneer repairs are visible throughout, with drawers possibly rebuilt. A few minor chips and nicks to the marble.
